Red Jeep Tours
Now is the perfect time to celebrate the 32nd season of the Red Jeep Tours by Desert Adventures! They have the best and most highly trained tour guides in the Greater Palm Springs area. New guides complete a 5-week intensive training program where they become experts on desert plants, animals, history, geology, seismology, Cahuilla Indian culture and much more. Desert Adventures has added two new San Andreas Fault Hiking Tours by Jeep this year which includes a ladder hike that offers spectacular views from the top of the Faultline.
All of their San Andreas Fault tours take place at their private and exclusive Metate Ranch. You can explore their private natural palm oasis, or check out their historically accurate Cahuilla Indian Village, which sits on the archeological site of the ancient Cahuilla village of Paltewe. In addition to the 4 San Andreas Fault Tours at Metate Ranch, they also offer open-air Jeep tours to the Palm Springs Indian Canyons and Painted Canyon in the Mecca Hills Wilderness Area. Lastly they completed an extensive renovation of their outdoor Enchanted Desert Wedding and Event Venue at Metate Ranch, and are now accepting reservations for weddings and other kinds of events!
Desert Adventures has their guests’ health and safety at the top of their minds. All tours are private and follow strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols, their Jeeps are open-air, and masks are worn by our guides at all times.

Big Rock Pub has managed to make the best of a tough situation throughout the pandemic. Their two wonderful patios and brand new beer garden help make outdoor dining as enjoyable as possible! Big Rock has a wonderful outdoor dining experience and has recently updated their menu to offer some new and unique dishes. They have added the Thai Burger, while keeping around some old favorites like the Rockin’ Riblets, making the new Big Rock menu one that can satisfy anyone’s taste buds! We also cannot forget their addition of wonderfully tasting pizzas, which includes the gigantic 24 slice “Mr. 59”. Big Rock has frequent events to enjoy like their daily happy hour from 3-6 pm, or their Saturday and Sunday brunches with bottomless Mimosas!
